Why Bluehost, Dream Host and HostGator make great webhost providers especially for WordPress sites?

Hosting is when a hosting provider allocates space on a web server for a website to store its files; they are hosting a website. Web hosting makes the files that comprise a website that is codes, images, videos, animations, etc. available for viewing online, 24/7, 365days as often is the case. Every website you've ever visited is hosted on a server. However, websites could be hosted locally onsite for example an organization can decide to self-host their website which is technically known as intranet hosting. This type is accessible only within the organization's network while others are hosted on the internet by companies providing these services. Now it's very much advantageous to have a third party company host your website for reasons being; Most of their companies' Datacenters run on Tier 4 and Tier 5 standards which are characterized by Zero single points of failure, 99.995 % uptime per annum, 2N+1 infrastructure (two times the amount required for operation plus a backup), No more than 26.3 minutes of downtime per annum as a maximum figure, 96-hour power outage protection. Multiple and long term power system capabilities, resiliency and redundancy, etc. And most importantly there is a high level of security Since these infrastructures and SAAS(Software as a service) applications are being managed by core experts/Engineers in the field. Now Some host providers may try to demand extra for security but the fact remains, they still protect your website as best as possible because it is been hosted on their systems, a breach of your site may affect their systems and perhaps paint a negative image of their services as well.

So, assuming you have finished building yourself a website and now aim to have it hosted on the internet for worldwide accessibility. The next issue is finding a reliable web host provider that can support your website according to the website category. Almost all WebHost providers are great in what they do but some are just better in different categories depending on what your website is all about which could be e-commerce, business, portfolio, or blog. Keep in mind that some companies provide both services that are web building and hosting, others are solely on hosting. Furthermore, some support transferrable/interchangeable hosting and others don't for example, a website built with Wix cannot be hosted out of Wix whereas a WordPress site can be hosted on Hostgator as well as Bluehost and Dreamhost but the good news is they all accept transferrable domain names which are usually between two weeks to 60+ days old. That said let's begin with my recommendations of best WebHost providers for wordpress. I have carefully analyzed many based on my experience on them as well as reviews/feedback I've got from other people.

BLUEHOST:

Founded by Matt Heaton in 2003, Bluehost is a web hosting company owned by Endurance International Group. It is one of the twenty largest web hosts, collectively hosting well over 2 million domains. The company operates its servers in-house in a 50,000 square feet facility in Orem, Utah United States. Powering millions of websites, Bluehost is one of the world's largest hosting providers and it is highly recommended by WordPress. She provides Shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated hosting, WordPress, and Reseller hostings. hosting prices begin at $2.95 per month and you can benefit from a free domain, SSL Certificate, and 24/7 support. Lately, the company has introduced a WP Pro when you install WordPress which is just one-click on Bluehost. with this new implementation you benefit from an All-in-one marketing center and dashboard, SEO, email marketing, and social media tools included Optimized performance for blazing site speeds, however, these come with additional pricing which begins at $19.95 a month
Bluehost also provides WordPress online store capabilities which are powered by Woocommerce. you can fully customize online stores/ themes according to your taste. there are three distinct plans(starter, plus, and pro) for this. Depending on your plan, you can get multiple stores for this. learn more about  Bluehost woocommerce here.

HOSTGATOR:
Just almost a year older than Bluehost, HostGator was founded by Brent Oxley on the 22nd of October 2002. Like Bluehost, she provides Shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated hosting, WordPress, Reseller hostings, and additionally. windows hosting, application hosting. Whether you want to create a blog, start a forum, use a CMS, wiki, upload to your own photo gallery, or sell online with an eCommerce store, you can do so quickly and easily through HostGator's web application hosting. Since the web hosting services run on Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP, thousands of existing applications and software are compatible. the application hosting supports Joomla, Drupal, Magento, WordPress. etc. Hostgator has more features and hosting options than Bluehost and its pricing plans are slightly cheaper as well. you can register, transfer, or manage domains. Once you buy a hosting plan which begins at $2.75, you can benefit from a free domain, SSL Certificate, and 24/7 365 support which indeed timely and professional. Note that Hostgator provides both website building and hosting. if you choose the starter plan which begins at $3.84 per month, you benefit from free hosting, domain name, etc. Learn more at Hostgator.com

DREAMHOST:
One of the oldest on my list, DreamHost is a Los Angeles-based web hosting provider and domain name registrar. It is owned by New Dream Network, LLC, founded on April 10, 1996, by Dallas Bethune, Josh Jones, Michael Rodriguez, and Sage Weil. Just as the aforementioned Bluehost and Hostgator, Dreamhost also provides Shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated hosting, WordPress, website hostings WordPress website builder which is one click as well and additional cloud hosting, In terms of pricing it is slightly cheaper with hosting prices starting at just $2.59 per month. and they offer free migration of WordPress. Unlike HostGator cPanel is not available at DreamHost. Instead, DreamHost uses a custom-built panel to manage your websites, databases, email, and billing. Most tasks performed on cPanel can also be completed using the DreamHost panel. uptime for Dreamhost is not 99.99% as its counterparts but 100% guaranteed and when it comes to security, features include Multi-Factor Authentication, auto-enabled sFTP, and free secure hosting with Let's Encrypt. so no worries on that part. Another interesting part is Dreamhost protects your WHOIS domain privacy for free, something you pay extra with the other host providers when you buy a domain name. Customer support is just as impressive as HostGators; timely and professional. So to roundup, Dreamhost is cheap, secure, and guarantees 100% Uptime. if you expect something other than that such as Marketing supports., CMS/application integrations then you won't get it here at Dreamhost.com

WIX:
Wix doesn't provide hosting services outside its Wix sites that is Wix only provides hosting possibilities to websites built with Wix. So if your website is not built with Wix, kindly consider the above options. Now why I put this here is to help individuals who are still looking forward to finding a web builder get the added advantages of choosing Wix especially when you upgrade to premium plans which include business and eCommerce. Wix.com Ltd. is an Israeli software company, providing cloud-based web development services. It allows users to create HTML5 websites and mobile sites through the use of online drag and drop tools. Irrespective of the type of website you intend to design that is business or eCommerce, Everything about Wix Webdesign is free but to enjoy sophisticated features and support, you need to upgrade to a premium plan. By default, all premium plans come with a free domain for one year, an SSL certificate, Wix SEO, two premium apps to support your site, a logo worth $50, 5000 email campaigns per month, etc. what's more impressive is their marketing tools for business which includes videos, social media post. once you upgrade to a premium plan, you can make as many as hundreds of short marketing videos for your business. we covered a full review about this in one of our previous articles, Check Best web builders for you. The downside about Wix is sometimes pages take long to load and their customer services are quite slow as compared to Hostgator who we saw earlier. In case of a refund policy, you have to be extremely patient to get your money back. Interested in Wix? head to wix.com

So this rounds up this article of best web host providers, especially for WordPress sites. Other host providers such as siteground, interserver are great too but these here are the best and outstanding. Share and leave a comment.
